Step 1
The licence
To obtain a racing license, it is necessary to take and pass a racing school. Even if you have an impressive track record in other forms of racing, stock car, rally, karting, the school remains a requirement … Your experience may be taken into consideration by your instructor, but it will not exempt you.
Four (4) ASN approved Racing schools are offered in Quebec :

Step 2
The licence application
- For your initial license, you must apply to the FIA representative in Quebec, Auto Sport Québec (www.lasq.ca).Requirements:1. Racing school certificate,
2. A racing medical form completed by a doctor:
3. Proof of membership to a member club of the ASQ. The ASQ offers on its website an up-to-date list of the member clubs of the Federation.
4. A passport photo
5. paymentNB: racing licences from other jurisdictions are valid and accepted (if approved by the Series’ Chief Steward).
Step 3
Safety equipment
To ensure safety of the cars and drivers under the ASQ (FIA), carsand drivers must conform to the specified safety and security regulations, contained therein. [Reference regs]
It is drivers responsibility to equip oneself and the car according to the rules specified by ASQ and the FIA. [See websites].
